All students will be attending during their ELA classes.  The Book Fair is held in the Library and cash/checks/Scholastic EWallet are accepted.  Checks should be made paybale to NMS PTSA.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! 

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the School Counseling department has worked together with Hipsters to create NMS gear that spreads a positive message! 

We are encouraging our students and staff to purchase an item to participate in “Wellness Wednesdays!” Each Wednesday in the month of May, we hope to see a sea of green NMS gear!

Jones Beach WildPlay Adventure

On May 20, 2024 the 6th grade will participate in the Jones Beach WildPlay Adventure Courses at Jones Beach, Wantagh, NY.

Checks will be given to 6th-grade homeroom teachers.

Due to a conflict with WildPlay at Jones Beach, the trip for our 7th-grade class is now scheduled for May 30th, 2024. As a result of the change of date we are required to collect new permissions for your child. Please complete this digital permission slip for NMS AND the new WildPlay Waiver NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MAY 10, 2024. Parents/guardians can complete both using the Google form linked below.
